This describes the current Spark website and extension implementation. Last updated October 31, 2026.

Who this notice is about

Merch Spark is an independent software project offered under the Mercher World project name, by the creator behind Merch AI. Contact: support@mercherworld.com. This page concerns Spark; the separately available Merch AI product has its own website and practices.

This website

This is an informational product website. It has no account sign-in, advertising-account connection, payment form, customer-file upload, analytics script, advertising pixel, or site-operated tracking cookie. Fonts and illustration assets are served with the site.

The hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and delivery or security logs to serve and protect the website. Email links open your own email application. If you email us, your message and contact details are handled through the relevant email providers and used to respond to your enquiry.

Information the extension processes

When used in your Amazon Merch session, Spark processes the account context needed to make authorized requests, product and design identifiers, titles, marketplace and listing status information, prices and availability, and sales and royalty reports including cancellations and returns. It may cache product images and public product metadata such as ratings, rating counts, and sales ranks.

Storage

The current extension stores settings and cached reports in your browser’s extension storage. Amazon session context and manually entered Amazon Ads access tokens are held in browser session storage. Local preferences and report caches can persist across browser sessions. Browser storage is not encrypted; do not treat it as an encrypted credential vault.

The current extension does not send its Merch reporting database to a Spark-operated reporting backend. Its authorized requests go to the connected services described below. The website does not request or accept your client secret, OAuth token, Amazon password, or customer lists.

Requests to other services

  • Amazon Merch: authorized requests retrieve listing and reporting information or submit the product changes you choose.
  • Amazon retail sites: optional product lookups request public product pages for the relevant ASIN and marketplace.
  • Amazon Ads: if you configure an approved client, profile, and valid access token, the reporting integration contacts Amazon Ads and report-download hosts. API access and account authorization are required.
  • USPTO: when you explicitly run a trademark review, selected wording is sent to the official search service. Optional serial-number lookups can use a USPTO TSDR API key you supply. These are wording checks, not legal clearance.

Those services and your browser process requests under their own policies. Review the permissions before enabling optional connections.

Retention and removal

You can disconnect Ads profiles in the extension settings to remove the configured session connections. Disconnecting a profile does not necessarily remove previously cached report results. Clearing the extension’s local data or uninstalling it removes its locally stored settings and caches, subject to your browser’s behavior. Session credentials are not intended as permanent storage.

If you have sent an enquiry and want us to review or delete that correspondence, contact support@mercherworld.com. Requests may require clarification and are subject to applicable retention obligations.

Changes and future functionality

Amazon Ads onboarding and reporting remain in development. If Spark adds hosted account storage, a public advertiser connection, analytics, or other data processing, this notice must be updated to describe that implementation before it is offered.

Merch Spark Research data

The research workspace collects public Amazon.com search cards and product details through your locally installed Spark extension. Collection is initiated by you. Sponsored cards detected in search results are excluded. Research products, shortlist choices, imported files and estimate settings are stored in your browser. CSV and JSON imports are parsed locally and are not sent to a server.

The website bridge exposes only public research actions. It cannot read your private Merch account, API keys, advertising credentials, or bulk-edit jobs. Optional Amazon.com access can be removed in the extension settings. Clearing this website’s browser data removes its local research and shortlist; extension-side collection data remains in extension storage until you remove the extension or clear its data.

Amazon receives the searches and product requests you initiate. Product images and web fonts are loaded from their respective providers. The app does not use an analytics service. Downloaded CSV files are under your control.
