ABOUT THE PROJECT

Built for the work
behind the designs.

Merch Spark is an independently developed browser extension for understanding Merch on Demand sales and working with product listings.

An independent creator project

Spark is a project from the creator behind Merch AI, offered under the Mercher World project name. Mercher World is used here as a project identity, not a claim of incorporation. Spark is in active development and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.

What the extension does today

  • Displays Merch reporting, royalties, returns, and calendar-period comparisons.
  • Shows sales activity by design and marketplace, with regional Amazon product links.
  • Provides catalog filters and selected-listing bulk price, color, and availability workflows with previews.
  • Offers optional product-detail lookups and explicit-button USPTO wording searches. Trademark matching is not legal clearance.
  • Supports sales notifications, browser badges, local preferences, and light and dark themes.

Availability and data completeness depend on your Amazon session, marketplace, the connected service, and completed report retrieval. The website preview is illustrative, not live account data.

Planned advertising reporting

The initial intended Ads API use is internal reporting for the developer’s own advertising account. Spark’s current Sponsored Products reporting implementation requests same-product, 14-day-attributed units for the previous two complete months and matches advertised ASINs to synced Merch listing inventory.

The current implementation requires an approved Amazon Ads API client, an authorized profile, and a manually supplied access token. Access tokens are stored in browser session storage. Automatic OAuth renewal is not implemented. Planned reporting improvements include spend and other performance metrics; these should not be read as an already available public connection.

This initial Ads integration is reporting only. It does not create campaigns or modify bids, budgets, targeting, or creative. Any future support for other advertisers would require their authorization and an appropriate Amazon-approved integration.

Amazon determines API eligibility. This website does not grant API access or collect Ads credentials. Read Amazon’s API information ↗

Merch Spark Research Studio

Inside the website, Research Studio is a working browser-local research workspace: organic product discovery, captured BSR and rating comparisons, a shortlist, product comparison, CSV/JSON imports and exports, and title-phrase keyword research. Connect your updated Merch Spark extension to collect Amazon.com data.

BSR values are category-relative snapshots, not actual unit sales. Optional sales estimates require your own reference data and use a transparent power-curve model. The tool does not verify that search results are Merch on Demand products or that a niche will be profitable.
